Rachael O’Donnell has worked in the child protection system as a Senior Psychologist and Psychologist Team Leader for the past 13 years. She specialises in therapy and assessments for children, adolescents and families.
Rachael specialises in child development, trauma and attachment. She is committed to helping families understand childhood trauma and attachment difficulties and uses a range of evidence based therapeutic interventions including Reparative Parenting, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Positive Behaviour Support and Narrative Therapy.
Rachael’s experience in senior management as a Psychologist Team Leader gives her a unique perspective and understanding of the needs of staff working in the child protection and Out Of Home Care fields. She is able to offer experiential advice to staff and carers.
Rachael is an accredited Family Group Conference Facilitator.
